This Romanesque castle or donjon was built in the 12th century. In the past it was surrounded with a castle moat.
The building consists of three superposed rooms. On the groundfloor there is a stable, with a well, spanned with tunnel vaults. On the first floor is a living room, spanned with groin vaults, with a wash-stand and open fire. This living room was only reachable via a drawbridge. The sleeping room, on top of the living room, was only reachable through unconfortable stairs in the stonewall. These stairs passed an, in the meantime dissapeared, outleaping latrine.
