This is one of the so called Poelaertpaviljions at the Place of the Congres. Just at the opposite there is an identical building. Both were constructed in the same period of the construction of the Pillar of the Congres according the plans of the architect Joseph Poelaert who also has drawn the Congres Pillar.( with our thanks to Yannick Du Bois)
