This singleaisled church was mostly built in the 17th century. At
the north side wall there is a piece of a wall of a medieval church worked in.
The church nave has a deapth of four bays , and goes over into a
chancel of two bays which ends into a semi-circular apsis.
Inside there is a 18th century main altar with lwaincscotting
(also from the 18th century). In the nave you can see tombstones from the 17th
and 18th century.
One of the graves of the graveyard is that of Léon Preud'Homme -
Carlier. He used to teach at the University of Ghent and was knight of the knighthood of
Leopold. He died in April 1915.
