The history of Agimont's castle goes back far into the Middle Ages... during the 9th century, it was owned by the Church of Liege.

But it was not always a piecefull place. In 1554, the old castle was destroyed by Henri II.

Also the World Wars would do their damage...

But in the end... a huge fire in 2001 turned the proud castle into ruins.

Nowadays, you can play 'war' yourself (paintball) or do adventure paths... (see on Belgiumview/Historvista or the site of the organisation Agimont Adventure).
