With the Country Administrative Centre, this Finance Tower (skyscraper) is symbol for the modern development of the capital, like is was seen in the years 1950. The large scale of this project was new to Brussels.

The whole was a joined effort of the Groupe Alpha, Hugo van Kuyck, Georges Ricquier, Marcel Lambrichs and Robert Schuiten.
