This church was built in 1786-1787 (just before the French Revolution) and was only inaugurated in 1855.

The tower is still a restant of early gothic. The belfry windows are worked out in a pointed archedformed mouldings . This octogonal tower is dated from about 1300, and was a crossing tower. You can see easily that the underlaiyng pointed arches (at the outside) were cemented close afterwards.

There is a classicistic facade.


Inside there is an organ by L.Van Peteghem from 1819. The main altar is dated from 1759, and the choir stalls from 1753. There are also tombstone from the 17th century..
