Tuffstone is stone of volcanic origin: it is the result of mixture of volcanic ashes with stone splinters. it can have various forms, colors and properties.
Lincent's tuffstone was already extracted in the Roman period. It only stopped after the second worldwar. it was used in a lot of houses, farms, churches... And it's fame went worldwide: it was worldwide used in bread ovens (even in Canada)!
